Avril Lavigne’s “How You Remind Me” will appear on the soundtrack to the latest film in the One Piece manga film series-One Piece Film Z. Lavigne’s previously released version of the Joan Jett song ‘Bad Reputation‘ is also set to appear on the soundtrack after One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda wrote to Lavigne and asked if she would be willing to contribute music to the film, reports Anime News Network.
This is the second time Lavigne has recorded extensively with a partner, after her ex-husband and Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley produced six songs on ‘Goodbye Lullaby’. Lavigne was previously married to Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley, but they split after three years of marriage in 2009. She went on to date American TV star Brody Jenner, who is Kim Kardashian’s stepbrother, but they broke up at the beginning of 2012.
Avril Lavigne, who have been dating for six months with Chad Kroeger, confirmed the pair plan to marry and got engaged earlier this month. They met in February when they co-wrote a song for Lavigne’s fifth studio album.
