Here’s how it works… Go to the Logitech Facebook Page (don’t forget to fan us while you’re there), click on the Holiday Karaoke tab, plug in your webcam, and just follow the instructions on the app:
1. Click “Record Your Hit”, and get ready to put on your best holiday karaoke performance, or if you’re feeling creative you can upload your own original holiday song (as long as it does not include copyrighted material)
2. Share your video with your network using Facebook, Twitter and email – the more votes you get, the closer you are to becoming a Hi-Def Holiday Karaoke champion
3. Don’t forget to continue sharing throughout the contest period, and feel free to submit more than one video
Videos will be accepted until December 31, 2010, and the voting period will continue until January 3, 2011 at 8 a.m. PST. Five finalists selected based number of votes and eligibility (see contest rules) will receive Logitech prizes with retail value of $1,000. The Grand Prize winner, chosen out of the finalists by Logitech, will also win $5,000 cash (US). While the contest is open to U.S. and Australia residents only, all users, regardless of country of residence, are eligible to vote.
