The fact that Blackpink received no nominations this year is a bit surprising and will for sure make some Blinks very angry.
Fans were convinced they would be nominated since BLACKPINK release of their new album Born Pink and their song Pink Venom also managed to break several records as people hopped on the trend of copying their dance steps.
There are several other artists who did not make it to the list, including Taylor Swift, Megan Thee Stallion, and Nicki Minaj.
While BLACKPINK may not have made it to the list, K-Pop fans can celebrate as BTS did manage to get two nominations, first for Best Pop Duo/ Group Performance for My Universe ft Coldplay and second for Best Music Video for Yet To Come.
The news comes months after it was revealed that the members will be heading for mandatory military service and will come back as a group in 2025.
