Ryan Babel loves to Tweet and gets him in trouble. Babel Tweeted an image of an old Manchester United shirt photoshopped onto Webb’s body (above) as a joke born out of frustration over decisive penalty in the first minute of Man United’s 1-0 win over Liverpool in their FA Cup third-round match.
Babel has since deleted the Tweet linking to the image and said, “My apology if they take my posted pic seriously. This is just a emotional reaction after losing an important game,” and for good measure, “Sorry Howard Webb !” He then wrote approximately four million Tweets joking about going to Twitter jail.
Liverpool midfielder Ryan Babel has been charged for this joke.Babel has until 4pm on Thursday 13 January to respond to the charge.
