The 46-year-old host of The Cougar and Curb Your Enthusiasm actress, Vivica Fox received an eight-karat diamond ring from 27-year-old concert promoter Omar “Slim” White over the holidays. “We did get engaged on Dec. 26,” Fox told People magazine Tuesday. “And we are very happy!”
“They are both eager to start their lives together and have a family,” a source close to Fox told People. “she is so excited; it is heartwarming to be around her.”
Fox told Wendy Williams on The Wendy Williams show last month: “My career has been my baby for such a long time and I’ve done well by that. I waited for God to send me a good man, and he’s a good Southern man.”
As for the age difference, Fox has no concerns as she and White plan to have a baby this year.
“I’m very fertile, so I don’t think that I would have a problem,” Fox told Williams.
Fox and White have been dating for more than a year, CBSNews.com reported. This will be Fox’s second marriage. She and singer Christopher Harvest split in 2002.
